Death of a member
To terminate the membership of a deceased member, print, complete and mail the membership termination form available on this page. The form must be signed by the beneficiaries of the estate or the estate administrator.
The completed form should be mailed to the Cooperative.
Postage is prepaid when you use the following return address:

Once the membership has been terminated, the membership fee will be refunded to the estate’s bank account as soon as possible. Under the Finnish Cooperatives Act, the membership must be terminated by the end of the calendar year following the member’s death.
