Rules of Cooperative Tradeka

The cooperative’s purpose is to conduct profitable economic activities, provide its members with competitive benefits and services, and support activities that serve the public good.

In its operations, the cooperative puts into practice its members’ views on good ownership. Members have many ways to influence how the cooperative develops its operations to make them meaningful. The strategy of long-term ownership is also reflected in the financial targets set for the companies and investments owned by the cooperative.

Cooperative Tradeka’s field of activity is, either directly or through its subsidiaries, to

  • conduct business activities that fulfil the purpose of the cooperative’s operations and serve its members and other customers,
  • conduct responsible investment, financing and other business activities,
  • provide its members with information related to the economy and ownership,
  • support activities that serve the public good,
  • conduct other activities related to the cooperative’s purpose.

The number of members in the cooperative is unlimited. A person aged 15 or over, or an organisation, may be accepted as a member if they undertake to comply with the cooperative’s rules. Membership is applied for by written or electronic application, and upon joining, the member must pay the cooperative a subscription price of 33 euros and 64 cents for the membership share.
