Good governance is transparent

Tradeka is committed to good and transparent governance. The same commitment is also required of its subsidiaries. In practice, this means following the publicly available Corporate Governance guidelines and reporting on their implementation. The latest Corporate Governance Statement and Remuneration Report are available via the button below. Each Tradeka subsidiary also has its own Corporate Governance guidelines, which it follows in its governance.

Tradeka communicates openly and transparently about its operations. For example, its financial performance is reported quarterly in interim reports, its investment allocations are published on its website, all recipients of donations and grants are disclosed annually, and the Corporate Governance Statement includes all related-party transactions.

The Tradeka.fi website provides an anonymous whistleblowing channel for both employees and the companies’ customers. The channel can be used to report activities within Tradeka or its subsidiaries that are suspected of violating Tradeka’s Ethical Principles.

The Tradeka Group reports its tax footprint annually and describes its principles for paying taxes in its tax strategy.

Ethical Principles

Tradeka’s Board of Directors has approved Tradeka’s updated Ethical Principles. They are linked to Tradeka’s commitment to the UN Global Compact and include principles related to human rights, working life, the environment and anti-corruption.

The Ethical Principles also include a plan for their implementation. Tradeka’s Internal Audit monitors compliance with the principles.

Due Diligence Policy

The Due Diligence Policy describes the key processes and measures through which Osuuskunta Tradeka identifies actual and potential adverse impacts related to responsibility and sustainability. These concern human rights and workers, the environment, the climate, good governance and anti-corruption. The Policy also describes how Tradeka seeks to prevent these adverse impacts.

Tradeka’s tax footprint

Tradeka publishes its tax footprint for the previous financial year as part of the Annual Report for that year. The tax footprint describes the taxes and tax-like charges generated for society through Tradeka’s operations, including value added tax. Tradeka Group companies operate in Finland and are liable for tax in Finland.

In 2025, Tradeka’s total tax footprint was EUR 106.0 million. This included EUR 4.4 million in corporate income tax paid and EUR 24.5 million in value added tax.*

*The operations of Tradecare, a Group company, are exempt from value added tax.

Remuneration Policy

At its meeting in spring 2020, Tradeka’s Representative Assembly discussed integrating sustainability closely into Tradeka’s Remuneration Policy. The Policy encourages those within its scope to take sustainability considerations into account and develop the sustainability of business operations.
